兰卡威 (Langkawi) : Langkawi is a rugged and beautiful island off the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia. New marinas, a golf course and cable car add to the island’s pristine beaches, coral reefs and forest covered interior. Pantai Cenang is the most popular beach, with a good range of accommodation and restaurants, followed by Pantai Tengah. Head to Burau Bay and Datai Bay for some of the island’s more exclusive resorts, including a beautiful golf course set against a backdrop of magnificent tropical rainforest.

大泰湾 : One of Pulau Langkawi most exclusive beachfronts, Datai Bay white sand beach is reserved for guests of the luxury resorts that call this area home – namely The Datai and The Andaman. Sightseeing and dining options are limited – in fact, the beach sees the most action and the resorts restaurants are the best places for food, though it is mostly high-end (but worthwhile) fare. Located on the north coast of Langkawi, at the end of Datai Bay main road, there is a beautiful headland that takes you past the jungle and down to the sea. From here, you can see Langkawi smaller islands and even Thailand stretching across the bay in the distance.
