Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa is a charming small hotel that has existed for more than 25 years. It was founded by mister Wa Fathaveeporn who is now 73 years old. Born in Hainan (China) he lived all his life in Koh Samui with his wife Mrs Somboun Suksom who was a local girl from Koh Samui. Mister Wa used to go fishing with his sons while his wife stayed at home to educate their nine children. This Boutique Hotel enjoys a secluded setting at the end of an unspoiled bay. In this tropical setting, the low-rise resort has been especially designed to reach peacefulness in harmony with the natural surroundings. Nestled on Koh Samuis quieter, more traditional northern shore, Zazen Boutique Resort and Spa stand on the west coast of Bophut beach amid lush gardens facing its own palm-shaded beach. Bophut beach itself is 3 kilometers long and is considered the most typical fishing village of the island. Although we have several shops, bars and restaurants in Bophut village, this beach is famous for its relaxed atmosphere.
