The Paradise Koh Yao Information
Hotel Information
The Paradise Resort's 70 studios and villas are set on the beach, in the garden or on the hillside overlooking the bay. Wood, thatch and stone accent the contemporary building design and integrate the architecture with the surrounding natural environment. Indulge in one of our pool villas— truly the ideal beachfront accommodation— nestled on the sand among the palm trees, just meters from the sea with a private pool and beachfront garden.
Other rooms higher up on the hillside offer expansive views over the bay and some have jacuzzis on their decks. The air conditioned bedrooms are simple and tastefully decorated with a mosquito net suspended from a rectangular bamboo structure above each bed.
Transportation
Whether you are coming in through Phuket or Krabi, the transfer to the resort provides the first chance to take it all in and catch in just one glance, the entire bay. The waters are protected (Phang Nga Bay is a bay after all) and the ride across is normally smooth and a great opportunity for those first few pictures.
From Phuket Airport
Private limousine or mini bus (depending on number of passengers confirmed) is provided for the short transfer by road (approx. 10-15 minutes) to the Yacht Haven Marina. The transfer boat departs from the Yacht Haven Marina pier and goes directly to the resort (approx 60 minutes transfer).
Normal daily operating hours for boat transfer: 8:00am to 5:00pm daily. Flight arrivals in either Phuket or Krabi can be met at the airport:
earliest flight arrival is 8:30am
latest flight arrival is 4:30pm
Late/Early transfers— outside normal operating hours: Available on request though weather conditions are key factor for these operations.
Phuket is Thailand's biggest island and is itself surrounded by smaller islands to visit and even to stay on. Some are uninhabited, visited only during the day; some are big enough to be home to small communities and some house hotels and villages. However, none are further than 30 minutes away by speedboat. For that extra 'away from it all' feeling and atmosphere you cannot beat getting off Phuket and experiencing the island atmosphere of Ko Yai, Coral Island or Ko Racha where the sea is just that little bit bluer, the fish more colourful and where the sand is just that much whiter.
