Lumut : For sun and sea fun, start with Lumut, situated about 84 km south of Ipoh City. The best time to visit this calming little heaven is between the months of August and November when the Annual Sea Festival "Pesta Laut" is annually held. This fishing village is the departure point for to Pulau Pangkor. It is also the venue for the Pesta Laut or Sea Festival in Teluk Batik, Lumut, every August.
