The small Thai village was established in 1999 from the inspiration of a Thai couple, Tu & Lek who has strong passionate in Thai Art & Culture and desire to transform all distinguish of Thai architecture to be the sanctuary of sense for all visitors.
Sawasdee Village , simple Thai name which is easy to remember but full of meaning in reflecting to be “ A Treasury Boutique Resort of Exotic Thai Art & Culture”with 40 rooms are elegantly designed with generous use of wood and Thai artifacts. The Resort is in a tropical setting, embraced by nature and surrounded by ancient - styled Thai’s sculptures. Creating more harmonious environment and nature with delicate scents of incense and soothing oils to gratify mind, body and spirit.
All main facilities of the resort; Sawasdee Thai Cuisine and The Baray Spa have sophisticated design with golden artifacts dome to represent the glorious art and culture of Oriental –Thai as well as to define the Universe which is the entirety of space , time and energy.
In October 2008 , Sawasdee Village will have more new 14 Triple Pool Access Villa and named “ The Baray Villa”. This new villa will be the first triple pool access villa in Phuket which there is the strong conceptual design in Arabian –Oriental -Thai characteristic.
Not only the strong conceptual of hardware but Thai’s hospitality service is also one of resort’s methodologies in order to create the differentiation of product for the most satisfaction of all clients who stay at the resort.

Definitely more laid back than action packed, this broad and curving beach is actually divided into 2 bays, Kata Yai and Kata Noi. Bordered by rocky headlands Kata Yai offers two kilometres of white sand beach fringed with trees and a few beach restaurants, resorts and a boutique hotel. Just 10 minutes from Patong Beach to the north, Kata Yai offers the perfect location. Kata Noi, the smaller beach, further south, offers seclusion and tranquility.
