The Beach Retreat is a small and friendly resort with six bungalows and a two bedroom two bathroom villa, infinity swimming pool and Beach Bar / Restaurant. The Beach Retreat is on the beautiful west facing Sunset Beach in Baan Plai Laem, an idyllic hideaway just off the beaten track but only a short ride from all the western trappings of modern Samui. The enchanting Plai Laem Temple is just a five minute stroll away where there are some small local shops, bars and restaurants. Slightly further is the world famous Big Buddha temple.
