Hotel Information
The resort is laid out like a small village, with well kept tropical gardens and hotel blocks of 525 bedrooms. The central feature of the resort are its 3 well designed swimming pools.
Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa is located in the middle of Karon beach, a minute walk from the sea. All rooms are air-conditioned set in a tropical garden where bougainvillea blooms all year round, setting with plenty of space for family and friends alike. All have private balconies with Pool and Mountain View features.
Karon, the second largest of Phuket's principal west coast beaches, is quiet and relaxed. Lots of good local restaurants and a good range of accommodation from small guesthouses to family resorts. The beach has lots of room and is rarely crowded. Snorkelling at the southern end which has a coral reef stretching toward Kata and a small offshore island (Boo Island.) From November to April, Karon offers perfect conditions, but from May to October swimming can be dangerous because of strong undertows, so observe the warning flags.
