Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi recreates a Chiang, a self contained city. Guests cross a moat to approach the vast central square, above which tower golden stupas and domes inspired by the architecture of Lanna. Traditional Thai homes, ornate palace-like structures and colonial mansions faithfully represent an architectural history of the diverse region which Lanna originally spanned.
All is set amidst 60 acres of green natural surroundings. The result is some of the world’s most magnificent accommodation, restaurants praised for their authenticity and leisure facilities that provide an insightful cultural experience.
