Kota Kinabalu City Information

Sabah has a dense jungle interior and the region’ s highest mountain. It's a perfect place for eco-adventures and is a naturalists/botanists dream destination. The capital Kota Kinabalu, was virtually rebuilt after the 2nd world war and is a modern city with good air links to KL. Attractions nearby include the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary and the Sabah State Museum, which includes an exhibition of skulls – reminder of a time when Sabah was known for head hunters.
