住所 : Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz, 75000, Melaka
マラッカ : Malacca (or Melaka is it is now known) was once filled with the billowing sails of trading ships as Europeans, Indians and Chinese traded spices, silks, opium and tobacco along the east – west trade route. Malacca still retains the flavour of its historic past in the streets, buildings and ambiance of the town. Attractions include the Maritime Museum with a life-size replica of an old Portuguese galleon, St John’s Fort, Jonker Street – a haven for antique hunters and the Baba & Nonya centre – a blend of Malay and Chinese culture. Easily accessible from KL by train, Malacca is worth at least an overnight stay.
メラカ・ラヤ : Popular among Malacca’s urbanites, Melaka Raya is a fairly newly-developed suburban area of Malacca City that plays host to some of the state’s best dining, entertainment, shopping, and accommodation options. Besides that, it’s the best place to head to for nightlife as some of the best bars (Pure Bar, The Jetty) are located here. Meanwhile, Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade – the city’s biggest shopping malls – call this area home and there are plenty of hotels that house five-star restaurants. However, frequent visitors know that the best food in the state can be found at the street-side restaurants, open-air cafés and kopitiams (coffee shops) in the area.
