Ha Long Bay :
Ha Long Bay : Ha Long Bay's outstanding scenic beauty, complemented by its great biological interest, was added to UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994. The Bay is in the Gulf of Tonkin, and includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and therefore are unaffected by human presence.\n\nThe diversity of the environment, climate, geology and geography of the area has created an astonishing biodiversity, including a tropical evergreen biosystem, oceanic and seashore biosystems. Ha Long Bay is home to 14 floral species and 60 fauna species. Visitors can hire a boat at Bai Chay and go out to the bay. It is here that you will discover some of Southeast Asia’s most fascinating nature sites.
