Special rates are available for The Datai Guests..** *The Gulai House restaurant is CLOSED for relocation until Jan 2012. During this time selected items from The Gulai House menu will be available at The Dining Room Restaurant from 630pm till 1030pm daily. All other food and beverage venues remain fully operational* As part of the Teluk Datai Master development Plan launched by the Prime Minister of Malaysia last December, The Golf Club Datai Bay will be heightening the level of the resort facilities in our continuous effort to offer a distinctively superior golfing experience. The initial phase of the upgrading works will commence on October 1, 2011. The upgrading works will see the birth of a new golf course of international distinction, designed by one of the most successful golfers in the history of the game, South African Ernie Els. Having won more than 60 tournaments since turning professional in 1989, Ernie Els remarkable and inspiring success on the golf course has been replicated in his portfolio of award-winning golf course designs throughout the world. Bringing the experience to you right here in The Golf Club Datai Bay, the new Ernie Els designed course is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2013. During the affected period, in house guests wishing to enjoy a swing or two of golf are welcomed to do so at the Gunung Raya Golf Resort, which is located in the southern part of the island, next to Kuah City called Kisap. Our resort concierge will be more than happy to assist you with the ground transfers and golfing arrangements.
