A hidden gem of boutique resorts on Lanta Yai Island. The Resort is surrounding with lush greenery charming tropical in the valley landscape, which is easily access of 10minites walk to Pra-ae beach.
Only 24 comfortable villas are well furnished, feature natural setting of open-roof bathroom. Superior Boutiques Villa & Pool Veranda Villa(Nearby the Pool area) are quite similar in term of setting except the location. The Tropical tara Villa is the large bed room and more spacious with its 30 Sqm living room .
Swimming pool with Jacuzzi is also available. The hotel provides advice and plenty of choices if you are interested in “Around the island” activities.
How to get to Koh Lanta
It’s good to know if your hotel is in either Lanta Yai or Lanta Noi. Both can be reached via sea transfer (ferries) only. Available access points would be mainly at Klong Jirad Pier & Hua Hin Pier, which both of them lie in Krabi.
Klong Jirad Pier; Approximately 2-3 hours. It’s available for passengers only. Various schedules are available during the day. (06:00-18:00) Advance reservation is necessary.
Hua Hin Pier; Approximately 2-3 hours. It’s available for car & passengers but you have to take another ferry to Lanta Yai because the ferry would talke to Lanta Noi first. Advance reservation is necessary.
All ferry times are subject to weather conditions and short notice changes or cancellations. For smooth operation, you may alternatively ask the hotel to arrange your transfers (additional cost).
Koh Lanta island is a favourite spot for those who seek peace and solitude, and is the home of the District and National Park offices. Mountainous and rugged in some spots, especially near the southern tip; with a combination of gravelly and fine white sandy beaches, the island is also home to a clan of Chao Ley, or Sea Gypsies who preserve many of their ancient customs and ceremonies.
