Centre Point Silom Information
Hotel Information
A Superb Home... "The River of Kings" in times gone by was the focal point of Thai lifestyle. As it was in the past, so it is today. Silom Road was originally a tree-lined canal, one of many in old Bangkok which once was called "The Venice of the East".
Thai riverside life is still celebrated and nowhere better than the Centre Point Silom Executive Serviced Apartments situated on the bank of the Chao Phraya River.
Doing business around town is a breeze as you are in the hub of business activity as well as the jewelry trade district, leading hotels, department stores, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Best of all, you can travel quickly and easily throughout the city by taking the Saphan-Taksin Skytrain stations.
In order to maintain standard and quality of all apartments to be in perfect condition, we plan to have renovation during the year 2008 and will go on until approximately end of November 2009, Floor L and the rooms on floor 8th to 26th. The working hour is from 09.00 hrs. to 18.00 hrs.
Silom, running parallel with Sathorn Road represents the heart of the older central business district, lined with the head offices of financial institutions, local banks, law firms and multinational corporations. Surprisingly there are also a number of art and antique shops, and some good local bars and restaurants.
During the evening, Silom puts on a different face when local street markets selling clothes, watches, and souvenirs set up along the roadside. Patpong, better known for its raunchy nightlife also has a few dance clubs and party places among the saucy shows, along with Japanese hostess and karaoke bars around Thaniya.
Some of Bangkok's old established hotels are located along both Silom and Surawong road. The Skytrain runs along part of Silom providing good access both to the river and the central shopping area.
