Melaka Raya Information

Popular among Malacca’s urbanites, Melaka Raya is a fairly newly-developed suburban area of Malacca City that plays host to some of the state’s best dining, entertainment, shopping, and accommodation options. Besides that, it’s the best place to head to for nightlife as some of the best bars (Pure Bar, The Jetty) are located here. Meanwhile, Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade – the city’s biggest shopping malls – call this area home and there are plenty of hotels that house five-star restaurants. However, frequent visitors know that the best food in the state can be found at the street-side restaurants, open-air cafés and kopitiams (coffee shops) in the area.
